L.Craig
Is there any writeups anywhere for these CU superteams. Or even a current list of the members
JmOz
I know there were 5th edition write ups in Digital hero

Lord Liaden
I believe thay also were in the 5ed supliment Champions: News of the World. That's where the complete recent rosters (as of a few years ago) for both teams can be found, with full 5E character sheets and write-ups for all of them. Champions Universe for 6E lists the same members for both teams. Digital Hero #s 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20 present a history of the Sentinels from their founding in the 1960s and into the 1970s, with full entries for several members, allies, and normals associated with the team. However, this material can't be considered "official" as Steve Long defined it, since it hasn't appeared in a published Hero Games book. In fact I did find one detail of the Sentinels' history in DH that differs from later book publication.
JmOz
what detail out of curiosity?
Lord Liaden
DH 19 describes the Sentinels' months-long involvement in a religious-based civil war among the Velarian Confederacy, on the other side of the galaxy, in 1972. Champions Beyond changes that adventure to a war between two other alien races, the Jakkari and the MQro.
Acroyear II
How was the art for the character write-ups in Digital Hero? I was thinking about picking up the issues with the Sentinels and the Fabulous Five, but only if there is full artwork to go with the character stats and history. JmOz
I remember artwork, have not looked at it for a while, but seems to me it was line drawings for most but not all the characters. I could be wrong it has been a while
Lord Liaden
All the super characters from those teams had line artwork in DH. Pretty good overall IMO.
Acroyear II
Good to know. Thanks guys.
Darren Watts
At the time, the write-ups for the Silver Age characters in the Sentinels and Fab Five were as "official" as it got, since I created them. Of course, that may no longer apply, but I intend for them all to show up again in Silver Age Champions when I get to writing that (I've been playtesting a campaign of it for almost a year now.) dw
Lord Liaden
Silver and Golden, I'm just waiting to fork over my money.
kahuna's bro
I would be interested in that as well
Darren Watts
The "Champions" part of Golden Age Champions is effectively done, all the character sheets and writeups. It's the "World of the 1940s" portion that's taking me forever now, in and around the various other things I'm actually getting paid for. Someday soon, I'll be close enough for a Kickstarter. dw
Lord Liaden
Great to hear, Darren. Like I've said before, just tell me when and where to send my money. Pursuant to the subject of this thread, will GAC include character sheets for the original members of the Justice Squadron?
Epiphanis
On a related note, Darren, would it be okay with you if I post my artwork and notes regarding the Silver Age playtest here? There might be stuff you don't want getting out prior to publishing the finished product.
steriaca
On a related note, I would love to have made a Champions Heros book, basically a Villian Volume for the good guys. Of corse it would be filled with modern, official Hero System, current year heros. Well, I can dream, but I'm advise by my lawyer not to hold my breath. RIGHT? dw
