Hunter Excel Character Sheet

Hi all,

I'm getting ready to launch an MHI Session with my group, and decided to simplify things for everyone by modifying the 6th Edition spreadsheet that's floating around out there.  It doesn't look nearly as pretty, but since we're going to be playing using a virtual table top, no one is going to be printing this.

I wanted to share it with the community, and since I'm apparently unable to share it by uploading it directly, here's a link to it in my Dropbox folder.

*** Edit ***

See link below for the sheet.

Happy Hunting.

I appreciate that.  Keep me in mind.  I would love to join in.  I'm still trying to figure out this system.  Thanks.

Have you seen The Hero System in Two Pages? It gets right to the heart of the system. Available for free on Drive Thru RPG and from my drop box referenced in this post: http://www.herogames.com/forums/index.php?/topic/87521-how-to-play-hero-in-two-pages/&do=findComment&comment=2315158

Here's a couple of direct links to the Hero in 2 Pages doc (the first might be going away with this websites' changes by Dan).

and here's a link to the MHI specific version:

Thanks for the links.  I did see that.  I think it is going to actually come down to playing the system to get used to it.  I just don't have a group of players locally.  I play D&D on Roll20.net but I have only found one group playing this RPG and they only play monthly.  I would love to see this take off on that virtual table top site.

I also have a copy of the MHI RPG and I'm very interested in playing it.  I've never played the hero system before so I'm completely lost when it comes to this system.  Have you all figures the game mechanic out yet and are any of you comfortable enough playing it that you wouldn't mind adding another player to you vtt group?

I just got my .pdf of MHIEHRPG and am still waiting for the print copy to show up.  The 2 pages really helped.  Like Sisko8198 I am new to Hero.  I played Champions back when I was in the Army in the 1980's.  So it has been long enough for me to forget everything except "it was fun".  I have been stuck in d20 systems since then, mostly Pathfinder, with a fall from grace of 4th edition...but that is a tangent best left for later.

It was actually Larry's books that has my group talking before and after our weekly sessions.  We all loved them.  So We are all buying the MHI book and the GM is getting the 6E books for reference and the Beastiary.

Other than "sit down and work through it" are there any other references we should grab?  A GM Reference Screen?  Software for quick lookups?  We aren't opposed to laptops at the gaming table.

Here are links to a couple of nice fan made 6e GM screens you could certainly print up:

Hero Designer is a great character building program. (see links in my signature to see some example characters built using it)

It's not really a game time management tool though.
