Instead of leveling everyone up all at once like I have before every expansion I'm tightly focusing on one character and working on him.  He's getting revered in every faction and working on the fox mount quest finally (got an invite in a box in Suramar at the end of the "train our army" scenario).

So, I logged on to Champions Online while making sure stuff works on Win 10 (it does), and found out that my Grimoire and Devastator had been revised.

Apparently, they did a revision of the Sorcery powers recently. They've added the dimension of Enchantments (buffs) and Curses (debuffs) to the powers, and stuff that interacts with them. Grimoire now has seven power choices instead of the usual two, which is cool. Devastator now has three power choices, which I think is up from two before.

The heavy weapons set looks like it was modified to interact with fire more, and many of the abilities apply Clinging Flames. Devastator now has an energy unlock with Thermal Reverberation, which should be nice.

The Void and Specialist were apparently also updated, but I don't have either.

There are also some new AT's (new on me anyway): Rockstar (tank, paid), Hexslinger (ranged, paid), Penitent (melee, paid), Predator (melee, paid), and I saw someone mention a Witch AT being on test, but not sure if that's accurate.

Edit: Tempest was changed slightly, but no respec. Scourge also had a respec, due to recent Sorcery changes.

I'd be fine with mythics if they put the base level of mythic into the LFD tool. It's not like the first mythic level is that difficult. Otherwise, it's just too much of a PITA to be bothered with.

I've mainly just been logging in to do my world quests, and slowly completing the zone quests for Legion Loremaster. I tried to start leveling another character the other day, but got bored fast. I just can't go through the same content all over again so soon. I did the first wing of LFR that was released, but haven't been back for the rest. The odds of getting item upgrades aren't worth putting up with the general population. I'll do the other two wings at some point, when I want to spend the time on them, then be done with LFR until the next batch.

Star Wars MMOG is doing their "life day" event, snowballs and a holo trainer and some other stuff.  You aren't required to go to Kashyyk and watch the incredibly stoned cast of A New Hope do a skit.  Winter Veil hasn't quite started up for World of Warcraft yet, no word on any new presents yet that I've seen this year.

World of Warcraft did a medium sized patch, no new content added, but some changes to classes (mostly boosts and shifting talents around) and adding "mini holidays" through the year.  Also added timewalking Pandarian dungeons, which I guess are somewhat popular even though I found them vastly unbalanced in terms of risk vs reward.

Heads up if you play Champions Online but infrequently: Today is the last day to get a free steambike vehicle. All you have to do is get a quest from Jo the Mechanic outside of the Power House in the Renn Center. (It's an accept then turn in type.)

It's a 5 Speed, which is the fastest I think any of the freebie vehicles have been. It has a gold or brass main color with the rest being metallic, so fairly neutral color tone. Link.

I only to the freebie vehicles, b/c I don't like the vehicle system, but they're handy for flying around on lowbies and characters that don't have a good vertical movement power due to concept.

Yeah, there were two WoD era toys I still needed to get, hence why those quests were still taking up space on my QL.

It's weird.  This expansion I played a BM hunter first, so I'm taking things like surviving for granted.  My pally needs to severely catch up on gear.  And yet, said hunter just got his 3rd Legendary...

250% experience bonus is active in SWTOR.  With a little PvP thrown in I leveled a bounty hunter to level 70 (cap) by halfway through chapter 1 (Nar Shadda - planet level 24-28).  Thank god they implemented a level scaling system capping you to the planets highest level while you're on it so you're not fighting things 50 levels below you constantly.

Also thank god there's a post-cap reward system so there's a point to keeping going besides seeing the story...
