Lord Liaden
No argument there. Neal McDonough looked to be having a lot of fun playing that character. Personally I appreciate a villain with a sense of humor.
Pattern Ghost
Yeah, Legends was helped immensely by having (IMO) the three best CW DC villains last season.
Bazza
Yeah, Legends was helped immensely by having (IMO) the three best CW DC villains last season. Agree. I also liked a lot that they weren't 20-30-somethings. Gave the show a refreshing change of pace.
bigdamnhero
Y'know, 2 years worth of traveling to other dimensions and not once has Cisco or anyone asked the Most Important Question: "How many seasons of Firefly did you get on your Earth?"
Bazza
Exactly. Maybe Agents of Shield could answer that question. Do they get Firefly in the dimension Robbie took the Darkhold too? Or The Framework?
Matt the Bruins
Yes, but it's an adaptation of the Piers Anthony novel, complete with the pedo subplot.
Nolgroth
Just watched the season premiere this morning. What a waste of potential. I mean, the story could have been good if the creative staff took an episode or two more with it. It just felt rushed. Like the Arrow premiere, it didn't make me want to continue watching. wcw43921
I'll continue watching--but then, I've always been a fan of The Flash. And I really like the new costume, too.
Hermit
All I could think of was "Oh, the big bad this season doesn't look to be another Speedster? THANK GOD!" sinanju, Lord Liaden, DasBroot and 2 others
sinanju
Apparently, being trapped in the Speed Force for six months (or an eternity, subjectively, possibly) was just the vacation Barry needed. He came back much more upbeat and Not Angsty . I'm sure it won't last. This is a CW production, after all. But it was nice to see. I didn't buy Iris being so dead-set on not evening *trying* to rescue Barry. It was completely out of character. If her attitude had been, "I can't deal with it. I can't endure having my hopes dashed again, so if you insist on trying, just don't tell me," I could have bought that. But actively attempting to prevent it? No. Yes. THANK GOD the Bid Bad isn't another Speedster.
Lord Liaden
All I could think of was "Oh, the big bad this season doesn't look to be another Speedster? THANK GOD!" I want to feel the same, but don't forget Alchemy last season. We may not have seen all the players yet.

Jagged
I think the theme for this years Arrowverse series is that everything from the last season cliff-hanger is basically resolved in the first episode
Nolgroth
Same as every year. Gah. If I didn't actually like most of the characters, I would be inclined to shut it down now.
Jagged
That's not fair. Previous seasons he moped about for half the run to get over one trauma or another
DasBroot
He's enjoying himself too much. Show history demands a sacrifice. Entire last season was Iris so let's make it Joe of something like a major heart attack that doesn't respond to CPR, no matter how quickly applied. Bonus points if it's at a wedding of some sort. I liked the speedster tricks on display last night. They're doing a good job of making him seem faster than when he went into the speed force. Cassandra
Last nights show should have been saved until Valentine's Day. Is Barry high? Nice to see Donna Pescow.
slikmar
I don't think the guy in the chair is the villain. I believe he is the Monitor and is there to "observe" something happening with these 12(?) metas. I find it interesting that his assistant seems to dress very similar to the people in the time building from LoT. Cassandra

Nolgroth
I hope not because Supergirl will die! Well it is her turn. I mean Oliver died when he fought that al'Ghul fellow. Barry has died at least a couple of times in his shows. White Canary died and returned and etc. It is a time honored tradition amongst the CW heroes. Hell, they don't even really accept you as one of the Inner Circle before somebody cries at your wasted funeral.
Hermit
Okay. I'm a bit behind but the line "It's like he doesn't know he's a dead man" from Gypsy cracked me up
slikmar
Apparently I was incorrect, they are doing The Thinker. http://collider.com/the-flash-the-thinker-explained/#images I actually am sorry to see that, as the Monitor being there to watch the creation of new metas might make sense.
