Michael Hopcroft
I wonder what should worry me more -- the next generation dying in a global war, or the next generation not dying in a global war?
Badger
I feel selfish and guilty for thinking it, but given my genetic heritage will die with me. It has become harder for me to worry about future generations. My day-to-day sanity simply takes priority, these days. If it makes me a horrible person, I just have to live with it. Michael Hopcroft
I may have no children of my own, but I have two nieces and a nephew. And their future does worry me, a lot. Even though realistically, given what recent procedures found, I don't really expect to last much past sixty-five.

Lord Liaden
Sad for his surviving family, but it does incline one to believe in karma. Not all poachers are scum, though. For some locals it's the only work they can find that pays a damn.

Most people don't find weasels to be very sympathetic. That's why politicians generally aren't popular.
