Yes, there is a double standard. Property destruction is a crime, repeated emotional betrayal isn't.

Badger
Yeah that too. It just bothers with things like that, when roles are reversed the man isn't coming out as striking a blow against the evil ex. Michael Hopcroft
Bubba Wallace, who promoted NASCAR's ban on the Confederate flag, had a noose put up in his garage before the race at Talladega, Alabama on Sunday (weather postponed the race until Monday). NASCAR has vowed to find out who is responsible for putting it up and “eliminate them from the sport.” Given that NASCAR is one of the most popular sports among White Southerners and there have been very few African-American drivers, this is sadly unsurprising. There is no word on how many of the banned flags were confiscated from fans before the weather intervened. Wallace is hardly burning up the field on the track; his best finish in the NASCAR Cup Series has been 28th. He's done somewhat better with the trucks, posting a 3rd place best finish in that series. All of which puts him in a very awkward position of trying to avoid becoming too controversial to get sponsors for his car while still speaking his mind on race. Pariah
Best case scenario: Some track employee, or friend of a track employee, who got in and put it up while nobody was looking. Worst case scenario: Somebody on Wallace's own crew. In either case, whoever did it is a bastard, and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Lord Liaden
I was never a fan of Keaton's Batman/Bruce Wayne, but he's grown more seasoned as an actor, so depending on the script I could see him do interesting things with the role.
Pariah
If nothing else, it can truthfully be said that there have been at least two actors who were worse in the role of Batman than Michael Keaton was.
