"To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
And to run where the brave dare not go
To right the unrightable wrong
And to love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest
To follow that star
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far
To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell
For that heavenly cause

And I know if I'll only be truе
To this glorious quest
That my heart will lie pеaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable, the unreachable, the unreachable star!"

As a GM you can spend months creating your campaign, seeding it with clues, novel encounters, villages, towns, cities, colorful and unique terrain and hordes of NPC's and the one area you have not yet completed that can only be accessed by going up a mountain pass and then traverse a narrow ledge above a bottomless gorge.  A ledge no sane person would essay, and that is where they will choose to go. "SHEESH"

Oh, that is so true. Recently, I had a Champions adventure - it was supposed to last, oh. 2-2.5 hours. The players pulled a fast one of me I didn't expect but I respected and went that route. The game lasted 1 hour but I told the players I greatly enjoyed their ingenuity.
