Aphorisms for a Superhero Universe

Recommended Posts

When 'heros' become dark 'murder-hobos', vilains must become even darker to tell them apart.

In one game, a hero started acting and doing villainous activities, so her Rival, the villain, became a hero instead.  And didn't understand when we attacked him and arrested him for previous crimes...  :tsk:

"Remember, choosing option 3 is open for everyone."

I was brought to this by the most recent Dragonball Multiverse Comic (Fancomic that predates Battle of Gods). There an alternate Universe Raditz & Kakarotto attack helior (a techno planet), with only one defender present. The defedner get's the drop on them resulting in this exchange:

From the long-defunct Vendetta Rhapsody campaign: a haiku....

The only thing worse

Than fighting for the wrong side

Is not choosing one

Mind if I crosspost this?

"Never call anyone a Bastard in this industry. With how things work they will turn out to be your timeclone/parent/child/relative of your loved one/thier own father&mother down the road and that just sets you up for a stupid retort"

- Based on the Skullkickers Villain "Thool" (eldritch horror), who upon being called a bastard remarked "How can I be a bastrad if I am my own father and mother?"

When your future self time travels to warn you about the upcoming apocalyptic event, don't bother to ask him or her who won the Super Bowl. Neither of you won't remember it anyway once the timeline is restored.
