Logan D. Hurricanes
The new Hawkeye teaser is very exciting. Among other things, it looks like they're directly adapting a famous story from the 2012 run, Cherry. I wrote up a bit about this story here on my trick arrow blog. Pariah
Has sort of a "Marvel version of Die Hard" vibe. I like it. Of course, I've been really impressed with all of the Disney+ Marvel series.

Grailknight
24 minutes ago, slikmar said: But Thanos disappearing half the universe didnt? By lore,(Which has changed several times but is consistent on this point) the Celestials show up at critical points of growth in a species'/civilization's development. The snap lowered the levels everywhere but the the reversal caused spikes that set off alarms. Combine that with all the Infinity stone energy being used on Earth and they have to come see what's going on.

They might have visited other places, but those places don't count because they aren't special like Earth. I'm not sure about the mechanics. The trailer does imply that the Celestials put the Eternals on Earth and told them to stay out of the way as much as possible CES
zslane
From what I understand, the (MCU) Eternals were forbidden by the Celestials from interfering in humanity's affairs unless Deviants were involved. Of course, posing as gods during humanity's earliest days strikes me as a flagrant violation of that mandate, but maybe that mandate was handed down centuries after interacting with early humans. Lord Liaden
Three "snaps" total on Earth: Thanos killing half the universe, Banner bringing them back, Stark destroying Thanos's horde (arguably a much smaller energy expenditure). slikmar
