薔薇語
Alton Sterling. Dammit. I'm done. Change the whole damn system. Yes... Let the hate flow through you! Join the dark side. We have brownies... Or we would if the cops didn't do a shady civil forfeiture on them... Soar.

ghost-angel
Alton Sterling; restrained, tasered, and finally executed by Baton Rouge police. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/la-cops-shoot-kill-man-selling-music-baton-rouge-store-article-1.2700548 And to add to the list: Delrawn Small - shot and killed by off-duty cop during a road-rage incident between the two men. Time lines and details are unclear and contradictory, about all that is clear on this incident is a shout match escalated to the point where a cop shot an unarmed man. http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/brooklyn/off-duty-shoots-man-dead-road-rage-incident-brooklyn-article-1.2698074
megaplayboy
Philando Castle. Told the cop he had a CCP, got shot dead. Where's the NRA on this? Crickets. It's almost as if some gun owners lives matter to them and some don't.

Old Man
Well, this has been taken to the next level. Wish I could say I'm surprised. I wonder if the suspects will survive long enough for us to find out what their motivations were.
Twilight
Well, this has been taken to the next level. Wish I could say I'm surprised. I wonder if the suspects will survive long enough for us to find out what their motivations were. Or if they were even connected to the protestors, as I've already heard some people claim. Starlord
Yay, you just shot a dozen innocent people and made it even harder to have the necessary peaceful protests against horrible policing.

Hermit
Yay, you just shot a dozen innocent people and made it even harder to have the necessary peaceful protests against horrible policing. Yup. I'm sorrowful, but I'm also furious. Innocent cops died, and scummy cops will use this as an excuse to claim this proves their own brutality is 'necessary' Grailknight, wcw43921 and Shadow Hawk
Christopher R Taylor
Or, non-peaceful protests, as has been the case several times with BLM. Whose concern about black lives seems very specific.
Hermit
While I understand why "All Lives Matter" may strike some as mostly a way to dismiss concerns of minorities, I'm not a big fan of Black Lives Matter either. Sympathetic, but not a fan. But if Black Lives Matter doesn't condemn this openly and publicly (And I hope they already have and I missed it) then I'm going to think even less of them, and they will, in my mind, lose a great deal of any claim to a moral high ground EDIT: Whoa, Protest Organizers just just condemned the attack and extended consultations to the lost officers and family
薔薇語
I already lost a great deal of respect for them and their advocates. And this is coming from someone with rather explicit views regarding police in our nation. Soar.
