Pattern Ghost
Probably whatever the current version is of Ninja Hero / Ultimate Martial Artist. Generically speaking, it doesn't matter if you just buy a pile of maneuvers and say they're from different Martial Arts. For example, the old Commando style was something like Boxing Jab, Judo Throw, Karate Chop, etc.
IndianaJoe3
You buy the maneuvers, then buy a KS for each style you know.

tombrown803
RAW: you must buy at least 10 points of maneuvers for each martial art you want. Then if you take a KS for each martial art you gain the same maneuvers for the other arts. For example: Martial Art A: you buy Punch as a Martial Strike, Martial Art B: Martial Strike is defined as a kick, Then when you combine them you would have a maneuver defined as: Punch/Kick-Martial Stike
Susano
Actually, you must buy 10 points of martial arts. Style doesn't matter. If you buy two styles and they have maneuvers that are mechanically the same, you only need to buy it once, but can list it as Karate Punch/Kung Fu Kick or what have you. tkdguy
What if you're doing an armed style and an unarmed style, say, fencing and karate? So an Offensive Strike may be a thrust or a kick. Would you require someone to buy it twice?
pinecone
I would not...it just becomes a "style" limit for "Usable Barehanded" or the like. I think Escrima/Kali has a mix of unarmed/ armed moves, so I would buy it that way as well...then buy Usable Barehand for a armed form, or usable with "Weapon" for a normally barehanded style (most modern forms)

Would you require someone to buy it twice? Nope. You can buy it like this: Martial Arts: Jigen-Ryu Kenjutsu Maneuver OCV DCV Notes 4 Block +2 +2 Block, Abort Notes: Also Ninjutsu Block 4 Evade -- +5 Dodge, Affects All Attacks, Abort Notes: Also Ninjutsu Dodge

Would you require someone to buy it twice? I do not have my book with me now but isn't that what weapon proficiencies solve. I think you get ome automatic proficiency when you buy a Martial arts package that is usable with that set. Then you can expand that by getting morr weapon proficiencies. They would let you cross apply a single mechanic to multiple styles. La Rose.
tkdguy
Thanks. The way I did it was to buy the maneuvers and the KS for each style. Adding a note explaining the names for the maneuvers would be a good idea.

薔薇語
My post show that exact thing. Some maneuvers work for both Kenjutsu and Ninjutsu. I was just trying to add the clarity of weapon proficiency. Having unarmed as the freebie and then adding rapiers for fencing. La Rose.
steriaca
Look at my villain character in the Champions thread named Ace Of Spades. He knows multiple martial arts styles, and each style is listed separately for ease of reading, but he only pays for a maneuver once. And knows about eight or ten different martial art styles (Dirty Infighting, Karate, Kung Fu, Krave Maga, Muy Thai, Ninjustus, and a few others...)
