bigdamnhero
I loved Wynn's geek-out "OMG is that the Lexosuit, that's awesome!" Especially since I had just finished telling almost those exact same words out loud. And hey, did anyone else catch Wynn dropping that Superman killed Zod in this universe? I don't know if that was a studio-mandated concession or what; didn't bother me much, but I could hear the howls of nerd outrage even offline. zslane
It won't be long before Ollie makes an off-hand critical comment about how "That Bat guy brands the criminals he catches."
Greywind
Maybe they can get Ryan Reynolds to make a guest appearance in a green suit and a ring.
zslane
There was a tv ad last year that showed Supergirl wearing Wonder Woman's boots, so I suppose anything is possible...

Cassandra
New Supergirl last night. Toyman is dead and his Follower tries to take out his Son and Ex-Wife. Supergirl is trapped in a life size action figure box and suffocated.

She needs to breathe. The Toyman nearly killed her with quicksand when he showed up in season one. After she stood on a trap door. Come on, Kara, uses your X-ray vision! zslane
Then how did she survive flying past Earth's gravity well in order to throw Fort Rozz into space?

Pattern Ghost
Watched the latest episode tonight. I was less wondering about her having to hold her breath, than her inability to break out of something that a giant toy dinosaur could break with an accidental swipe of the tip of its tail. A toy dino that Mon El could wreck handily. The writers just wanted Kara trapped in that thing for a couple minutes, and weren't going to let logic get in their way. zslane
So I haven't seen last night's episode yet, but I have a question about the episode previous to it: how did Lena's serum injector penetrate Reign's skin? Are we supposed to just assume that it's needle was made of Kryptonite? I'm not sure even that would have worked given how Reign has been able to just shrug off Kryptonite like it was nothing. BoloOfEarth
Obviously, it was made of "plot-tonium."
zslane
I would say that making the audience assume the use of a Kryptonite needle is only slightly better than simply contradicting things established and reinforced by previous episodes. But both are examples of poor writing. Which is a shame because I really like the tone of the show, and its cast.
Pattern Ghost
You mean to say poor writing happened in a CW show? Bazza, Lawnmower Boy and Cassandra
Cassandra
Supergirl season 4 started last night. The best part was having Mercy Graves and Otis on the show. The bad part we have another lackluster villain this season.
zslane
Isn't this villain guy who is ordering the Graves around just a temporary villain? Presumably the real villain of the season is/will be Red Supergirl.
