Hyper-Man
Can anyone tell me the total points of Durak (member of Eurostar) from the most recent 6e villain book? I recently did a conversion from his 4e Classic Enemies entry and the total points went from 436 up to 571! I am curious how close this is to what's in the book. Thanks! Grailknight
Remember 4e Eurostar is across the board more powerful than the 5e versions.
Hyper-Man
Interesting, the official 5e version of Durak is 413 with only minor changes to the final abilities from the official 4e version. I'll convert that one to 6e as a comparison later. So the official 6e version is way less powerful. Thanks! I'll get those books one of these days. Enforcer84
But that's impossible. Point Creep and all. Changes appear to be: DEX went from 23 in 5th to 18 in 6th And his 10 point Base contribution in 5th went Awol in 6th
Lord Liaden
I just compared the stats for the 5E version of Durak from Conquerors, Killers, And Crooks, with those for the 6E version from Champions Villains Volume 3. Aside from rules differences they're nearly identical. The only significant difference is dropping his DEX from 23 to 18, but his OCV and DCV are still 8. Both are equally powerful. Hyper-Man
I forgot to mention. My conversion from 4e to 6e included Hardened AND Impenetrable on his defenses since the latter didn't exist as a separate thing in the 4e/5e days. So I take it that the official 6e version does NOT have Impenetrable defenses?
Scott Baker
So I take it that the official 6e version does NOT have Impenetrable defenses? That's correct.
Hyper-Man
I'm only 22 points off after a few changes then. Thanks guys!
Hyper-Man
Now I see the BIG difference. The newer versions removed Life Support.
