So I was on tvtropes, don't do it save yourselves, and looking over the femme fatale, vamp, heroic seductress pages. Then I remembered a warning in Pulp Hero not to use such charecters because players will spot them a mile away and not fall for their usual tricks. So anyone ignore this advice? Which archetype have you used/ run into most?

I haven't seen such characters much, but in my experience, when they do appear, players fall for it anyway.

The palindromedary says the only case we can remember is the one involving Lady Alodar and Achmed the Agile, in which Achmed and the only female in the party were the only player characters who did NOT fall for the vamp.

I haven't seen such characters much, but in my experience, when they do appear, players fall for it anyway.

I think the players, particularly in a Pulp Game, want to fall for it.
