Susano
A few more updates -- we have a cover with the "correct" title and logo. Also, I have reached 90,000 words and may... MAY be done by this weekend with my portion of the material.
Enforcer84
We can't find him. So... probably not. Yeah, I'd been completely unable to find him for a few years. Makes me sad.
LouisGoncey
This is going to sound completely insane, but I cannot wait until the new STRIKE FORCE is out so it will (possibly?) drop the cost on the original STRIKE FORCE. I have regressed back from the 4th edition BBB to the 3rd edition CHAMPIONS...

Christopher R Taylor
Yeah but all the stuff you need from the sourcebook will be useful for all editions, really.

LouisGoncey
that is why I said my comment was insane -- I an hoping that after the 6ed version of STRIKE FORCE comes out, the original version's price will drop, so I can buy the original version. It is a pure nostalgia collector's purchase for me. Glad you have a new version coming out, but I am not that interested personally in that. The new edition will contain much of the original, especially the GMing advice, but also a lot of new material relating to the campaign and how Aaron ran it. LouisGoncey
but I am playing 3rd edition CHAMPIONS and the 4th edition BBB. How much of the new material, that is going to be statted for an edition I don"t even use, am I truly going to miss. Don't worry, you have plenty of people trpwing money at the project... Ninja-Bear
Just to be clear, the new Strike Force will be written for 6E.I believe he is saying that by you writing a new version of Strike Force, the original should become cheaper. Ok I posted before reading all the new posts. Oops.

You might find the GMing advice and other such system-neutral sections useful, that's all I'm saying. That and the book will contain a lot of testimonials to Aaron and his influence on the industry, as well as a breakdown of his setting and its elements. There's more to the book then a collection of character stats.
Lord Liaden
Bravo, Michael. As tough as I'm sure it was to get through, this has to have been a Champions/Hero fanboy's dream job. As a great admirer of both Aaron Allston's work and yours, I'm very happy and eager to see the result (and ready to pay for the privilege). Fedifensor
Hopefully, the stretch goals will make available (in PDF format?) some of the massive amount of Aaron's writing for the campaign that didn't make the cut for the main book.
