steriaca
Is this guy the 'pull your heart and show it to you' guy, or a 'I drink your blood' guy?
Ninja-Bear
Is he officially part of the Red Banner now?
Lord Liaden
Steriaca: He's the "crush your skull to pulp with my bare hand" guy. His code-name is Vietnamese for "Skullcrusher," inspired by his trademark attack. Ninja-Bear: Yes. He was mentioned as such in both Champions Universe 5E and 6E, but receives a full 6E write-up and more detailed background than in Watchers of the Dragon, in Steve Long's recent Martial Enemies Vol. 2: Cult Of The Red Banner. SteelCold
I thought it was a stigmata effect or something.
Ninja-Bear
Thats cool LL. I did use him for an independent Contractor for the Red Banner myself.
Lord Liaden
You could certainly use Shadowdragon the same way. He fits perfectly with this version of the Red Banner: Asian mystic martial artist and sadistic nihilist to the core. The Dragon also makes a natural explanation for his super-powers. Honestly, I'm a little surprised Steve didn't put him in the Cult from the start.
DShomshak
Oh, I don't know. The Dragon does not insist that all Its servants get a union card. Or even that they know they serve. Dean Shomshak
steriaca
Cooper Mason is not directly a member of the CotRB. Pretty much for the reasons stated. The Death Dragon knows Cooper exists, and is a lifedrinker thanks to a stone dragon mask. Cooper knows their is a link between the mask, the Dragon/Death Dragon, and his powers, but does not directly serve the Dragon and the Cult. The Dragon lets Cooper exist, cause doing so benefits him both directly and indirectly. Cooper's "godhood" not worth mentioning (except when it becomes a problem for the Dragon, who will then easily crush what is left of Cooper's soul). steriaca
Of course, it helps that Cooper is not an official character...
Lord Liaden
The Dragon works in mysterious ways, Its horrors to perform. Besides, it's not like the Red Banner is the only Draconic cult on Champions Earth. Ouroboros, the Sons of Kingu, Vritrasangha, the Bone Children... Big Scaly likes multiple baskets for Its eggs.
