CaHT: Skateboard Viking Super-Science Squad!

Recommended Posts

Weird dreams brought about by flipping through the "League of Regrettable Superheroes" and a glass of red wine stuck this concept in my head.

"Founded by Jon Stamos, the Skateboard Viking Super-Science Squad is here to save the day!"

So, help me flesh this concept to life.  Be as oddball as you like, but Code vs. Killing is in effect.

Well, obviously REAL Hoverboards need to be possible for them.

Perhaps with dragon longship designs airbrushed on them!

Floating drones should accompany them to both record their awesome bodacity, and their bodacious awesomeness! And the drones should have speakers that blare out the Immigrant Song as they come to the rescue "AAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAA!"

Suggestion for a member

Oleg Teslason!

Oleg claims to have the blood of Tesla running through his veins! Our hero's proudest invention? A horned helmet (Yes, we know, viking helmets weren't like that blah blah blah, Science ignores your sad history and improves upon it! ;) ) that has electrical arcs bouncing between the two horns like tesla coils. It is capable of emitting "teleforce" to be used as a weapon to stop the uncool! It can also be used to repel. He also wears a force field projecting belt, on the buckle of which is written "AC>DC". Oleg has an eidetic memory which has proven useful for skating sport stats and girls phone numbers.

Othar The 'Orrible is the fastest boarder ever, loving to buzz his enemies. his enemies don't like it because Othar is prone to playing pranks as he goes by. The great villain itching powder dance is never to be mentioned again

Othar looks like a weasel with braided hair and buck teeth.

Eric the Blue

The perennially glum Eric was nicknamed the Blue as a consequence. An accident to a known boarder led to Eric using the boarder's board and performing quite impressively. He did not win anything but got the respect of the community who taught him how to do the advanced tricks on a board. And that is likely how it would have remained had not a supervillain with a petulant dislike of boarders not opened fire on a group of the boarders. Eric managed to push others out of the way and suffered the full effects of the blasts. He came out a changed man after a hospital stay. Bigger than he was before, stronger, faster. And maybe just a tad mentally unbalanced. Eric then insisted that people refer to him as Eric The Blue and began to embrace the Viking lifestyle. He began dressing like a Viking and carrying a shield and an axe. Although people were not able to change his outlook to stop being a Viking and carrying the paraphenalia, they were able to get him trained in order to use non lethal force in a fight. However no-one has been able to stop him calling on the Nose Gods when entering battle.

After all it is just a little bit terrifying to see a large Viking on a skateboard approaching at speed yelling 'Odin !'

Ragnar

A friend of Eric's after his 'accident', Ragnar has a jet powered board which responds to his commands. It allows him to 'fly' but only very close to the ground in the same way as a skateboard. Ragnar blows a horn to the tune of the music in the Vikings starring Kirk Douglas and has taken the name of Eric Borgnine's character. Ragnar has a reputation for menacing women although he stops far short of what Vikings were infamous for.

A little more heroic, bud.
