Wardsman Posted November 4, 2016 Report Share Posted November 4, 2016 Because of licensing restrictions imposed separately by both FarFuture Enterprises and DOJ, Inc., Traveller HERO requires that you have a set of core rules for Traveller (any version) and for HERO (5th edition). I created a Hero Designer template which combines Vehicle and Computer Characteristics in order to avoid needing a separate write-up for each. It was upgraded to 6th after purchasing Traveller Hero and cherry-picking some of your killer design ideas. There were some minor errors discovered during gametime such as MegaScale movement having both Combat and Non-Combat velocities. Also the "Explosion" Advantage on the Plasma Torpedoes was from 5th Edition. It was corrected to the "AoE Explosion" Advantage from 6th. rmccarty4 Posted June 2, 2019 Report Share Posted June 2, 2019 Why does the cover to Book 1 (doc title: Traveller HERO Sourcebook) cost $10, while Book 1 (doc title: Traveller Book 1: Adventures in Charted Space) costs $4? Does the Sourcebook satisfy the licensing requirement to own a copy of Traveller? Or do I still need to go to FFE or DTRPG and buy CT, MegaT, or TNE?
