Here is Wraith in a 300pt teen game I'm in(310 pts so far)
I got lots of Ideas for growth(listed in the equipment section)
Wraith is a mutant with gravity based powers
for now powers should not exceed 70pts and 10 damage classes

Background/History: Rena is a mutant,but has only had her powers for a year

she has had good success writing horror/action books(2 books since she started at 15)

she has taken the past year to learn and develop her powers and the Wraith persona

she has yet to make an appearance in public

 

Personality/Motivation: thrill seeker

Powers/Tactics: Str 45:just pretty much brick tactics

Flight:flys upright and strides when moving

She becomes an semi solid energy being when powered up

mass detection based on touch(and can easily id targets by it)

Speed:she is using gravity to warp time/space(slowing everything vs her)

Teleportation:using gravity to warp 2 points in space

Drain:she is creating an intense gravity field to crush her target into a singlularity(think of a sub going past crush depth)

Tunneling:just a movement version of Drain

Invisibility:expanding and refining of her skin tight field to include her clothing

she looks like a set of animated clothing(nobody looks to be in the clothing but they look as if being worn)

when in her energy form she looks like a very strong heat shimmer(a very bad invisiblity fringe effect visible beyond 2m)

I've seen the phantom character before, and found it in the Downloads section, but I do not see it on the first post... (I've had this problem before too)

What about a Gravity Field where she makes gravity in an area lighter so that people fly up or get pinned to the ground; likely bought as a Change Environment.

yeah more skill levels (got 1 overall in the wings ,maybe a couple of small group for hand to hand

she is at the same level as most of the group for OCV or slightly above but way under the monster PC

I'd look at Skill Levels. She has a pretty wide Skill base at this point, so some Levels to improve some of them would make sense. Combat Skill Levels, too... more dice of damage won't help if she can't hit her target.

 

Has she adventured enough to have made some Contacts? Garnered any Favors?

this one makes everyone within 10m leap away from her

 

2 Flight 10m, Limited Range (active pts in meters (40m); +1/4), Usable As Attack (x64 maximum weight per inanimate target; +2 3/4) (40 Active Points)

this one allows her to hold somebody or something up about 40m from her
they will need flight,teleport or near something and stretch or telekinesis to haul them away from her

I hate CSLs(she is near the max for damage already and the cost does not balance for me)

Definitely CSLs.

 

Her defenses seem a tad light, at least for our games. If she has an energy form, it might be worth considering some sort of Damage Reduction and/or Negation? Maybe some Power Defense and/or MD? Ultimately maybe even some sort of Desolidification if that fits?

Expand the area knowledge and get some specific city or area knowledge like Boston or New England for example.

Some language familiarity as she is American Spanish or maybe Italian. Possibly Native American but this all depends on where in the country she is.

Definitely contacts.

The good thing with all of these is that you start small and can build it gradually.

Another possibility is lip reading if she is being quiet especially if someone else is doing the interrogation.

Again build a couple of the other skills up gradually to 11 or less then maybe up to 12 or 13.

Holy crap, I was gonna suggest you crank up her damage, defense, Spd, OCV and DCV, Stun, etc.

I know this might seem weird, but I think a good example of Experience comes from the TV show Charmed.  In the beginning the three Halliwell sisters had a single powerful attack that all three had to use incantations of activate, while each had a limited power of their own (telekinesis, freeze time, clairvoyance).  As they adventured they began to learn and gain both powers and skills based on their adventures, and what they thought they needed to learn.  Prue and Phobe both learned martial arts, Piper learned to cause frozen items to explode (EB linked to Entangle Takes No Damage).

I would buy:

  • At least one more floating teleport location.  Perhaps a fixed location of Home.
  • For Teen Champions (assuming high school), you may want to see if your GM will let you have Access (school building) -- IOW, her own set of keys.  (I'm thinking like Veronica Mars acquired).  Sure, she has Teleportation and Desolidification, but that doesn't help her teammates get in after hours.

I plan I have is to have her buy a base in a pocket dimension
for flavor I only bought her mega scale teleport
if she where to do a port under 1km it would create a pocket like taking 1 corner of a piece of paper and tacking it to it's opposite
so she has money(4 pts of wealth as a horror writer) to buy a farm near by the school(rural) have a building built(the base)
then use the under 1km t-port to create the pocket
probably going to need to buy Dimensional engineering to get it right
and extra dimensional movement to get to it(the keys
as a kid her parents will have to buy the farm for her

for me that was a full phase action(powering up to hero Id) and I believe that was a light armor(not much in capabilities vs other armors that take longer to don like in Avengers)
even in IM3 it still takes a full phase at least to get in, as Tony gets interupted when trying to get into an undamaged armor in the final boss fight in IM3

My problem is, how do I just changing clothes instantly when none of her concept is based on rearanging stuff ,but either tearing it apart or reducing to a singularity
for Wraith I'd have to buy off the OIAID

Tony Stark got this during Iron Man 2 with a OAF: Suitcase.

 

He got it without a Focus in Iron Man 3.

How do you justify Instant Change? That's easy. You've got Desolidification. Perhaps you've got a costume that you wear underneath your clothing. You go Desolid for an instant, you can let your normal clothes fall away. You're skilled enough to kick them out of the way/stuff them in a nearby locker/phase them into the ground, so no one will notice. And then you're automatically in costume.

 

Now, for game purposes, you aren't using your Desolid power. You don't actually have to activate it, you can end your phase still solid, you can affect the real world on the phase you change into costume, etc. But for descriptive purposes, you flash Desolid for just an instant until your old clothes fall away, and that's your Instant Change.
