CptPatriot
Hey, Steve. I know you don't tend to answer these sort of questions, but I'll give it a shot. I am trying to design an attack power that more properly simulates how shockwaves work in reality. A shockwave into an enclosed space should do more damage than one in the open. Do you have any suggestions?
Steve Long
I'd buy the basic Shockwave power as shown in, for example, Champions Powers. Then I would buy the power again (in whatever amount seemed appropriate) as extra dice that add to the base power, with the Limitation, Only Works In Enclosed Spaces. CptPatriot
I guess I'll just need to see how many tiers of Enclosed Damage I'll need.
Christopher R Taylor
Another way would be to buy it the full damage enclosed spaces would cause, then limit it to do less when not in one.

I think one of the issues lies in how common the enclosed spaces are in situations where the attack power is used. A character with that sort of power would welcome confined spaces, yet most fights I've been in have lots of space to move.
