I would actually feel better about the ordeal if the machine caught on fire. It's either heat or memory failing. This sucks. I found out the long dumb painful way it was bad RAM. Why, even after all these years, do I check the hardware last? Hmmm... probably because 9.5 times out of 10 it's the Software, but still. You would think that I would check Hardware before doing a complete wipe. I'm sure there are some important bits not backed-up. And I'll lost the weekend to reinstalling all my stuff. So we went out to eat at a place that allowed us to dine outdoors. It was a bit draining, but also delicious. It was like being in NC again. More lovely weather tomorrow.
