They serve both cheap domestic beer and specialty hand brewed beer on tap. Food is reasonably priced and typical for this style of establishment (burgers, chicken wings, fries, nachos, etc.) The specialty meal is called "The team is on fire!" which includes a pint of beer, a Habanero burger and spicy nachos. The owner is a former football pro who played 6 years with the local pro team. While never famous, it seems he was good friends with many of his teammates and opponents during his tenure and has frequent special guests visit the bar on certain nights. dsatow Posted May 8, 2018 Author Report Share Posted May 8, 2018 Don and Geri's Ice Cream Parlor A throw back to the 40s/50s, the ice cream parlor has been running non-stop (though through various owners) since 1949. The place looks alike a diner throw back to those long gone times, with a working old fashion soda fountain, various sundaes and shakes, burgers, fries, hot dogs, and other junk food. The food is always at least good in taste and quality but generally not very health conscious.
