Requiem

Requiem is a bar/pub located near the courts.  It features a superficial resemblance to a British pub but the food is a bit better.  Much of the food is typical of what Americans believe British food should be and includes, Bangers and Mash, Steak and Kidney Pie, Sheppard's Pie, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Fish and Chips, and a ploughman’s lunch. But the thing it most has in common with the British pub is the beer which it imports in from the U.K.  They have the full range of British beer, from lights to heavy hearty dark brews.  Most regulars suggest a pint before ordering lunch or dinner (not that the dinner is bad, but the beer is much better).

O'Malley's

O'Malley's is the oldest bar in Babylon City at an age of 113+ years old.  It is decorated in old wooden fixtures and furniture and the lighting is reminiscent of when it was established with gas lighting (though using electrical lighting now).  It has a fully stocked bar and serves some of the oldest and most expensive whiskey in the state.  Originally, O'Malley's was simply a bar where workers could grab a drink, but today it has a culinary steak restaurant with high quality aged beef.  Some say O'Malley has veered from its roots as a working man's bar, but though refined, people of all walks of life enjoy O'Malley's.

O'Malley's used to have its own line of whiskey.  It was said to be the finest this side of the Mississippi River but the distillery went bankrupt a few years back.  Bottles can still be found for high prices on the auction market and O'Malley's is said to still have a few cases set aside for safe keeping.
