All items are examined by "experts" to ensure the safety of the public. From giant pennies to stuffed Tyrannosaurus Rex models, its in here along with costumes and gadgetry of former superheroes. Also in the museum is a fair bit of comic book history and merchandising. The museum lays claim to a good copies of Action Comics #1(Superman), Detective Comics #27(Batman), and All Star Comics #8 (Wonder Woman). dsatow Posted May 23, 2018 Author Report Share Posted May 23, 2018 House of Mystery Miss Cherise Bonaparte is a claimed psychic who setup this hole in the wall establishment. Originally from New Orleans, Miss Bonaparte has come to Babylon City as part of a 'vision' to set up shop here. Even though her ads show on late night local TV, she has a huge clientele. She is never seen in her ads but a soothing, sexy voice speaks of visions and vague abilities. Whether it is true or not is up to much debate, but her shop has had a statistically large number of correct predictions. In truth, the House of Mystery actually has 4 'psychics' not including Miss Bonaparte working there. The eclectic shop is designed to confuse as well as entertain visitors so while multiple people can enter, most do not know if there are other there getting readings going on from Miss Bonaparte. Staff keeps all visitors visiting the same psychic and security is there hidden in the strange accouterments of the place. Of all 5 ladies working there, at least one is a true psychic. Several investigative reporters have tried to expose the place and were outed while one actually got in and got an accurate reading from the real psychic. Originally a rave spot, when fire damaged the place, the owners sold it to an unspecified group of teenagers for about 2x what it was worth of the remains. The teenagers happened to have minor super powers and were able to restore the site. They formally opened the club as the Revolution and it has been a popular hang out for young adults since. It is not uncommon to see people dancing in the air with super powers and the customers and owners seem to regulate the crowd to prevent major problems. In one such incidence, a major supervillain decided to push drugs in the Revolution figuring a half dozen super powered teenagers couldn't stop him. What he didn't count on were other super powered people (villains and heroes) blowing off steam there supporting the teenagers. 45 supers and 87 normals decided to boot the supervillain from the premises. Since then, while minor issues for any night/dance club have occurred, nothing major happens there guarded by faithful customers and a the owners. The place has even been the site of a wedding between a superhero and former supervillain who met under truce at the club and fell in love. They employ teams of unique individuals and are able to recreate locations almost perfectly in a fraction of the time. Aftermath Enterprises has a policy of 105, which means after paying costs, the company seeks only 10% profit. This unique commodity pricing has lead to Aftermath having major branch offices in every major metropolitan city in the world and that 10% profit margin reaching $1 billion a year.
