unclevlad 112 Report post Posted January 13 Did George Lucas start coaching the Chargers' defense? Cuz it's certainly a Phantom Menace....
Starlord 3,033 Report post Posted January 13 So far the Saints look like a team whose starters haven't played in two weeks.
Pariah 5,454 Report post Posted January 13 Lousy Patriots.
Pariah 5,454 Report post Posted January 13 Wait, what? Patrick Mahomes shockingly becomes first QB out of Big 12 to win NFL playoff game
Badger 1,319 Report post Posted January 14 Looking like with a Saint win I am in polar opposite to last week 3 out of 4 of my preferred teams win (unfortunately the 4th game involved bleeping NE). Now 4-4 on the playoffs. Next week my preferred are the Chiefs, and to be decided in the NFC (probably go with Rams, but it isn't a big deal, which means I'll go 1-1 with the AFC being my hard luck one)

Surprising, yes, but not that shocking. Best prop bet for next week: over/under on total number of punts. Believe Howie Long suggested 3, Bradshaw was going Too high! Twould be a fun bet. Cancer 5,286 Report post Posted January 14 Interesting that the Rams are asserting they could read the Cowboys' defensive sets and signals, much like Seattle said they did earlier in the season. If true, that is not good coaching.

Badger 1,319 Report post Posted January 14 Jason Garrett is the Cowboys coach, when has he been called a good coach? Water must be wet
unclevlad 112 Report post Posted January 14 TO came out and blasted Garrett, but a) it's TO, so who cares, b) it's Garrett and almost everyone knows he has no clue, and last, c) Garrett is not the root problem, just the most obvious symptom. He's the hacking cough; Jerry's the lung cancer.
Badger 1,319 Report post Posted January 14 Well, yeah Jones is the obvious problem. More fanfare of water being wet. (I had to go there, it was a granny shot that I had to block)
Badger 1,319 Report post Posted January 14 Hmm, I wish the AFC game came first last week the more I think about it. If Chiefs were to win, I'd pull for the Rams. If Patriots win, I get a sinking feeling Goff would choke, and we'd need Brees to save us. Then again the Pats only Super Bowls to backups and friggin Eli. So to win next week are Rams, Eagles, Chargers and Chiefs. 50% right. Ok next week I predict Rams and Chiefs
Pariah 5,454 Report post Posted January 15 I'm not sure which I would like more: a Patriots loss in the AFC Championship Game to send the Chefs to their first Super Bowl since the Nixon Administration, or the opportunity to see Tom Brady tie Jim Kelly for the most Super Bowl losses by a quarterback. Cancer 5,286 Report post Posted January 16 There's a lot of slop in a forecast this far out, but a -2 F temperature at game time sounds like fun to me, since I'll be a couple of thousand km away from it.
