Christopher R Taylor
Quote Known superheroes are going to get the benefit of the doubt in almost all situations, because everyone knows they're the only ones who can really stop some of these villains. Well, and because the heroes consistently and strongly behave according to a very strict code of ethics and behavior which demonstrates that they can not only be trusted, but admired and are constructive to society. Do not kill. Always do the right thing, and be honorable, even when it hurts you or costs you. Sacrifice yourself for others, and to the good of others. Only use your powers for good, despite being able to do bad with them. Superman can look through womens' clothing and into shower rooms but does not because he believes it would be wrong. Its this behavior and action which develops trust and gives a reason for the heroes to be given the benefit of the doubt. They've earned it, its not just pragmatic. massey and Ninja-Bear
