Superheroes & supervillains based on big cats.

Off the top of my head--

The entire lineup of Thundercats.

Leopardman and Kitkat (takeoffs on Silver Age Batman & Robin) from Kurt Busiek's Astro City.

Cat-Man, a Golden Age hero.

Goliath, from Hanna-Barbera's Samson & Goliath, a dog that transformed into a lion that could shoot "power-beams" from its eyes.

Does mythology count?  There's The Manticore, from City Of Heroes' Freedom Phalanx--the Batman to The Statesman's Superman.

Hope that helps.

Wildcat?

Bronze Tiger

Puma

White Tiger

Hellcat?

Shadowcat?

If you're counting mythological creatures with catlike bodies then there is the Sphinx - Marvel villain and hero mentor from Mystery Men; also there is Chimera an xmen villain

PS:  Is Battle Cat a superhero? :)

There's a Cat-Man DC villain, too, right?

Cat & Mouse from '80s Aircel comics (IIIRC) though there was nothing animal about them (just street vigilantes).

Am I missing that no one mentioned Catwoman in the above lists?

Black Cat (Felicia Hardy) from Marvel.

I forgot Dex's name. The Red Lantern cat.

Lion Mane is one based on lions.

There are several women running around in Tiger costumes but I can't find the name. I keep thinking Red Tiger ?

But Flying Tiger and Tiger Wraith are valid choices as those characters exist

EDIT: Got it ! It was Huntress originally and she became Tigress.

Don't forget Streaky the Super-Cat from DC Comics. Not a "big cat," I know, but I wouldn't say that to him. ;)

Do Champions characters count? There's Pantera from Eurostar, and Lynx from the Brain Trust villain team. Jaguar from the 4E Champions.

Ooh, Pantera. I hated her. A lot.
