Anyway, I've brought together some villagers armed with torches and pitchforks.  So where are the Pluto haters?

Pluto is not a planet.  Pluto can never be a planet--if Pluto is a planet, everything is a planet.  All else is folly.

Ha!  Cancer's lava lake will incinerate me before you can tell one way or the other.  Joke's on you!

Well, that was fun to see, gotta remember to bring Ewok prisoners here to throw in.

Okay, I did NOT foresee this turn of events.

PS: There are 8 planets and at least 5 dwarf planets in our solar system. 6 if you count Farout.

you're too late, I've already started the Plutoan Holy War 2019-

For the first time in my 10 years in this district, school has been canceled due to inclement weather.

Naturally I was already on the bus on the way to school when the notification came in.

You mean those people who insist he is not even a dwarf planet?

Of course.  That happened to me Monday morning.  I swapped contents of my briefcase and went back home.

I never even got to campus. I just rode the bus until I could transfer to one that would take me back home.

I should be back at the house in about 10 minutes.

Exam ended a bit less than an hour back.  I have the impression the students were demoralized at the end.

EDIT: As much they might say otherwise, students do not like "which one of two, or same" type questions.

I live below the Mason-Dixon line, we call off school for 3 days if we see a snowflake.

You mean school is canceled for 3 days with the threat of a snowflake. Real snow and school is out for a week.

I missed two days of school (my birthday and my brother's birthday, as it turned out) my freshman year in high school due to a blizzard. It was legit; we had no electricity at our house for nearly a week. Our situation was worse than most. Some people in town were only without power for two or three days.

Did I mention that my birthday is in the middle of May?
