There are lots of small cons that don't advertise much (like TCEP), but they may have a regional or game type bias. For example, TCEP focuses mainly on board games, but there are always LARPs and RPGs as well. But not always stuff in the Hero system. If you still are interested in TCEP, it will be in Northern VA, Labor Day Weekend (near Dulles airport if you are flying). They don't have this year's stuff up yet, but hotel & con info usually gets posted to the website in June.
