BoloOfEarth Posted April 20, 2018 Report Share Posted April 20, 2018 As to his "morning magic rituals", I'm not personally fond of putting limitations (especially -2 1/4 worth that don't seem all that limiting) on Talents. Maybe if the powers / talents are assumed to automatically be Non-Persistent (so they drop if he's KO'd or falls asleep, and he has to re-do the rituals), then it might justify that amount of Limitations. All I can say is, I wouldn't allow them in my game as-is -- otherwise, by RAW he can cast them once and they could last for days/weeks/months... either until he drops them voluntarily or someone Dispels them. That said, logically I'd expect the Danger Sense also wouldn't work on hallowed ground, since it seems to me his ghostly girlfriend couldn't be there to whisper warnings in his ear. Not sure how his girlfriend putting out the lights still allows him to see (the Personal Immunity on the Darkness). Interesting and overall a cool concept. Beast Posted June 8, 2018 Author Report Share Posted June 8, 2018 John Dresden and Karrin Zatana where in love (took them long enough, everybody else knew it) John is a mage PI Karrin was a police detective who dealt with "unusual happenings" The 2 of them teamed up on many cases they also made some deadly enemies one day their enemy struck while the 2 of them where in the shower Karrin was killed instantly, John was shielded by Karrin's body from the gunfire John was able kill the assassin as Karrin died in his arms Later John after a few missions wonders what unnatural forces seems to be helping and protecting him He finds out it is Karrin's spirit now the 2 of them still solve mysteries and try to have a relationship Amorkca 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
