akrippler
I tried searching but didn't find the exact answer I'm looking for. Say you are using an absorb to fill an endurance reserve. What happens if the endurance reserve is at 0 (because you've spent it) but your absorb fades 5 points. We play 5th ed, if it matters. Funk Thompson
Your END reserve is still at 0, and the max END of the reserve drops by 5 points as normal. It can't go negative. Absorb to END, by default, increases both the maximum END of the reserve, as well as the current. (Unless it has "only restores to starting values" adder.) akrippler

Thank you for pointing that out, I understand now. Lets play devils advocate and say we did "Only restores to starting value", what would happen in that same situation? Nothing? Funk Thompson
Same thing, only the max END remains unchanged. Absorb / Aid to STUN would be the same; I don't think you can "take STUN damage" from the extra points fading. Could be wrong, there. akrippler

You cannot unless you added a custom limitation stating that. - E
Cantriped
There is no reason not to spend Positively Adjusted END before it fades. Considering their duration there wouldn't be much point in using them if there was a chance of suffering END Burn when they faded.
