But I would point out that there have been several times the Doctors appeared together to help each other. 1,2 and 3 helped each other vs Omega; 1, 2, 3, (4) and 5 helped each other vs Borusa. 2 and 6 helped each other vs Sontarans; 10 and 11 helped each other vs the Zygons and the Daleks And it is all canon. There have also been times when alternate universe versions of Superman, Captain America, Batman, etc, add nauseum, have appeared together in canon. To say nothing of that Stargate SG-1 episode where there were like 20 different SG-1 teams on base at the same time. But that's just how it is.
