[LFG] Fantasy Hero Online

Recommended Posts

I'd love to either run Fantasy Hero or play in a game via VTT.  Now, I saw Epic used for a game, but I wasn't very enthusiastic about it overall.  I saw some Roll20 ads, again it didn't grab me as a platform either.  I have Fantasy Grounds, but I don't have a custom ruleset for it.  I could set up a game though, using that.  I have an ultimate license, so players with even demo versions could play as well.  I haven't checked it out in a while, but there is another tabletop I picked up iTabletop.  I'm going to check that out as a possible avenue.  Any interest?  Any other suggestions?

We have been using Epic Table which has meet our needs.  I paid for a one time license and we are good to go.  Our biggest problem has been with VOIP for all of the participants.  One person in particular has an extremely difficult time w/ Discord.  We also tried Hangouts but I couldn't get it to work w/ my headphones.  And Skype (which we use when we have too) is a resource hog.

Other options for VOIP would be appreciated.

I'd be interested in a Fantasy Hero game. I've been looking for something that might fit me for a while.

Do you have a particular schedule in mind?

Bluesguy: Have you tried TeamSpeak? It is takes very little bandwidth, you can access open servers easily (which don't require paying for them) and the sound quality is high.

No we haven't.  Honestly their site confused me as to the pricing model and such.  I will give it a try.

You don't need to pay for it. The client is a free download. And there are so many open public servers, you can easily squeeze a dozen people into one of them and it will only barely register since the system is so bandwidth-efficient.
