Lister: Where is everybody, Hol?

Holly: They’re dead, Dave.

Lister: Who is?

Holly: Everybody, Dave.

Lister: What, Captain Hollister?

Holly: Everybody’s dead, Dave.

Lister: What, Todhunter?

Holly: Everybody’s dead, Dave.

Lister: What, Selby?

Holly: They’re all dead. Everybody’s dead, Dave.

Lister: Peterson isn’t, is he?

Holly: Everybody is dead, Dave.

Lister: Not Chen?

Holly: Gordon Bennett! Yes, Chen, everybody, everybody’s dead, Dave!

Lister: Rimmer?

Holly: He’s dead, Dave, everybody is dead, everybody is dead, Dave.

Lister: Wait. Are you trying to tell me everybody’s dead?

Rimmer: “Kryten, you’re forgetting about Space Corps Directive 1742.”

Kryten: “1742? ‘No member of the Corps should ever report for duty in a ginger toupée?’ Well, thank you for reminding me about that regulation, but I can’t see how it is pertinent to our present situation.”

Tempus: Um, Lois, did you know that in the future, you're revered at the same level as Superman? Why, there are books about you, statues, an interactive game. You're even a breakfast cereal.
Lois: Really?
Tempus: Yes. But as much as everybody loves you, there is one question that keeps coming up: HOW? DUMB? WAS SHE? Here. I'll show you what I mean.
[Tempus takes Welles' glasses off his face.]
Tempus: Look. [puts on the glasses] I'm Clark Kent. [takes glasses off, deeper voice] No. I'm Superman! [glasses on, soft voice] Mild manner reporter. [glasses off, deep voice] Super hero! [regular voice, mocking] Hello. Duh! Clark Kent is Superman! [laughs] Well, that was worth the whole trip. To actually meet the most galactically stupid woman who ever lived.

Babylon 5 was the last of the Babylon stations. There would never be another. It changed the future and it changed us. It taught us that we have to create the future or others will do it for us. It showed us that we have to care for one another, because if we don't, who will? And that true strength sometimes comes from the most unlikely places. Mostly, though, I think it gave us hope, that there can always be new beginnings. Even for people like us. As for Delenn, every morning for as long as she lived, Delenn got up before dawn and watched the sun come up.

Amazon Prime?

Amazon Prime Video does have the full run of Babylon 5, but you have to be a Prime member. That's generally not free, although you may be able to get a trial membership for free. That's how I got started.

"You are alone, child. There is only darkness for you, and only death for your people. These ancients are just the beginning. I will command a great and terrible army, and we will sail to a billion worlds. We will sail until every light has been extinguished. You are strong, child, but I am beyond strength. I am the end, and I have come for you, Finn."

"Listen, all magic is scientific principles presented like "mystical hoodoo" which is fun, but it's sort of irresponsible."

Sam BallardHis marriage is on the rocks, Rumpole, and when a fellow's marriage is on the rocks, he can't always be trusted with a cheque.

Claude Erskine-Brown: Indeed.

Horace Rumpole: Oh, really? How's your marriage, Ballard?

Sam Ballard: Well, you know perfectly well, Rumpole, I'm a bachelor.

Horace Rumpole: Then aren't you in the position of a lifelong vegetarian giving us your recipe for steak and kidney pie?

When Winston Churchill heard about the attack on Pearl Harbor, he broke out a bottle of champagne and said "We've won the war." His generals looked at him like he lost his mind. America's Pacific fleet was wiped out, France was overrun, and the Luftwaffe was bombing London. Churchill said "America is like a giant boiler. Light a fire under it, and there's no limit to the amount of heat it can generate." If you start a fire, Mayor Tate, you'd better be prepared to deal with the flames.
