death tribble
*leaves Badger over an anthill to be eaten by termites* A continued Easter Egg is getting people in an original TV series to appear in cameos in the new big budget film. Examples include Jonathan Frid and a couple of others who were in the Dark Shadows TV series going to a party in the Dark Shadows film starring Johnny Depp. And Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul appearing in Ben Stiller's Starsky and Hutch film (and the least said about that the better). BoloOfEarth
Or how people in prior TV series / movies appear in a current TV series. Though a lot of this is so heavy handed it's hardly an Easter Egg; more like an Easter Basket. Like how, in Supergirl, Kara Danver's parents are played by Dean Cain (Clark Kent / Superman from Lois and Clark) and Helen Slater (Kara Danvers / Supergirl from the 1984 movie). Or how John Wesley Shipp and Amanda Pays (both from the 1990 Flash TV series) have appeared in the current Flash TV show. Though they really should have had David Hasselhoff appear in Agents of SHIELD. Just sayin'.

Rhea, the queen of Daxam was played by Teri Hatcher (Lois Lane from Lois and Clark). Cassandra
In the Final Batman: The Brave and The Bold, Bat-Mite is convinced the show should be cancelled because it's "Jump The Shark". He replaced Aquaman's voice with Ted McGinley famous for getting shows cancelled. Ambush Bug voiced by Henry Winkler tries to spot him. Henry Winkler literally Jump the Shark on Happy Days starting the trope in the first place.
death tribble
Which was parodied on Arrested Development as Mr Winkler jumped the shark. This one was smaller and dead but you get the point

As long as I got my Cadbury egg. Oh and you should be nicer to me, I secretly downloaded the full Pauly Shore collection into your brain, and can force to watch it unfiltered with the flick of a switch anytime I want. Oh and for TV Easter Eggs, I believe on Everybody Loves Raymond, during a Halloween episode, Peter Boyle dressed up as Frankenstein's monster (see Young Frankenstein) mattingly
