Jason S.Walters
Everybody, I'm looking for two electronic-only Hero Games products created in the 1990's: Unknown Eagles and Unknown Eagles - Special Ops. If you have a copy of these products, please contact me at jason@herogames.com. I would like to get my hands on them. Brian Stanfield
I have a PDF of Unknown Eagles: Source Book 1. Is this one of the books you are looking for?
Duke Bushido
He already has that one. He needs the second one now: Unknown Eagles: Special Ops. I don't know anyone who has it. One guy who claims he had both, disliked them, and deleted them, but I find it hard to believe: I've got tons of stuff I don't really like, simply because there is always an idea or two I like to keep around. Yea, that's odd. I'm going to double check my storage area, but I'm pretty sure I pulled all my data from any floppy disks I had from then. I wonder if it was an announced product, but not much follow thru? It was in the midst of the Fuzion release area.
Duke Bushido
It was paramilitary Espionage kind of thing, in the early days of pdf, etc. So essentially it was "yet another" in a then-saturated market, offered exclusively in media that no one was really sure about and most people weren't set up for (downloading books? On dial up? No way!) So I'm not sure it circulated very far, but surely someone somewhere has it. They just may not be on this board. Tasha
IIRC all of the early Hero Ebooks were offered on Floppy disk. My copy of UE came from a floppy.
rjcurrie
Yeah, I remember all the early Hero Plus stuff being on floppy disk.
