tkdguy
Sorry, I was still pretty cranky. I usually just need to let my mood sort itself out for however long it takes. Edit: But thanks for trying.
Badger
Yeah, I tend to just snap, and go on an expletive train for about 10 minutes, and then calm down. In contrast to my mother who will sulk for 2 days.
Hermit
It's an unpleasant day when..... the geriatric hell beast that has settled into the house decides to blindside everyone with a new round of passive aggressiveness and nasty disposition combined. Old Man
I don't understand why she hasn't been kicked to the curb, but I sympathize. A man's home should be a place to reduce tension, not the opposite. Hermit

Sometimes I'm not sure either but probably because she'd be back in the hospital in two weeks or less without some supervision. She's legally independent, but there are signs of dementia... and couple that with her naturally evil disposition, and it's not fun. The one I really feel sorry for is her daughter. The poor woman cannot escape her mother if it becomes known she has free time at all.
Cygnia
There is a creepy guy in my acting class who said something totally inappropriate yesterday to me in public (this was not the first time), not to mention trying to take control of every scene he was in and making it about guns and porn. The guy's been given a LOT of earlier leeway due to suffering a brain injury a couple of years ago -- but this wasn't something you could write off as medical induced awkwardness. My husband was too shocked to say anything to him at that time. Me, I told him to eff off & that wasn't cool. We then talked to the head teacher afterwards who said he's gonna talk to Creepy Guy's mom (he's college age, not a knock there, just that he's legally an adult). I'm hoping it'll be a case that his mother sees how bad this is and will rein him in and not "Oh, my son can NEVER do anything wrong~!" We'll see. Hubby promises me that he'll step in if anything happens again. Probably 'cause he doesn't want me getting arrested if I handle it myself... Badger
Yeah, well my first reaction, would be to give him another brain injury.

Lawnmower Boy
It's a bad day when people talk trash about creepy geriatric hell beasts. We're people, too! Well, not people as such, but . . . Also, the older I get, the more I hate late shifts, and the next two schedules are up, and guess what?
IndianaJoe3
It's unpleasant when management can't decide what the schedule for the next week is. "You're working 7-3 Saturday and 6-6 on Monday." "It's changed. You're on call Saturday and not working Monday." "It's changed again. You're on call Saturday but working 6-6 Monday." Mind you, there are good reasons for all of this, but it's still annoying.

Toxxus
I woke up yesterday morning - in a start - to the sound of my wife crying beside the bed. Ran over to see what was going on - She had slipped off the side of the bed and attempted to break her spine on the wood frame. She's been limping around the house for a couple days with a swollen knee and a bruise on her lower back that looks like a Rorschach test.
