Thanks, Starlord, but Richard Moll in makeup is _one_ thing. Deciding to make a cartoon villain that looks like Richard Moll -- and in _particular_ , Richard Moll with the goofy facial expressions that made the Bull Shannon character so memorable-- Dude, that was just freakin' _weird_..... Only Atlantean Steel can do that. Now where could a WW2 Forgmen have gotten a Atlantean Steel knive from? Probably the same place Aquaman's tattoo artist got Atlantean steel for his tattoo needles...how else does one with bulletproof skin get tats? Just saw the movie last night and enjoyed it very much. What stood out for me was the direction, particularly the fight scenes, and costume design. I really like that they didn't shy away from the comic book costumes, and it paid off. slikmar
One thing I noticed that I thought was a nice touch. Why does Arthur have all these tattoos? Well, when you saw his father, he had the exact same scale pattern sticking out on the part of his arm you could see, so Arthur probably got it because his dad had them. Starlord
They are not. Momoa has a large wrist tattoo and various smaller ones. The large torso tats are for the movie, begging the geeky question - "How did a bulletproof man get tattoos?" Answer - Mom and/or Dad applied them using Mom's Atlantean steel tattoo kit. Bazza
Aquaman crosses 1 billion box office.
Christopher R Taylor
That is a pretty huge win for DC who needed it desperately. Now maybe they can figure out a way forward that doesn't involve Zach Snyder's nihilistic worldview, all dark colors, and every character as Batman. Old Man
Speaking of which, the next installment in the DCEU has been announced--Speed Flash, a gritty look into the life of an angst-ridden superhero forced into illegal amphetamine use first to cope with his powers, then to keep them going. The iconic red costume will be updated as a black leather S&M bodysuit with studs, and the soundtrack will feature a lot of thrash metal. Of course I'm kidding... or am I?! Bazza
Sounds like Wonder Woman 1984.
Armory
Suggested plot for the (hopefully recast) Flash movie: Barry goes back in time to stop Zach Snyder from murdering the DCEU. slikmar, Old Man and Christopher R Taylor

death tribble
According to wikipedia Aquaman has now passed $1 Billion dollars. It is now the most successful DC film.
Christopher R Taylor
I suspect that Wonder Woman would have pulled that kind of cash had it not come out after a string of disappointments. Wonder Woman basically set up Aquaman, giving people confidence that maybe DC might not screw it up again.

Old Man
Nothing could be worse than what Marvel did to Speedball by creating him in the first place. Twilight

Christopher R Taylor
If I remember correctly, Speedball was a Stan Lee creation, trying to come up with something new. And conceptually it could work, with a better costume (its just a speedster variant or a leaping version of Cannonball) but the costume was hideous and he wasn't used very well. Hermit
Steve Ditko and writer Tom DeFalco crreated him actually. And he was a lot of fun Then the Civil War event crapped all over him taking what was vaguely ridiculous and fun and turning him into cringe inducingly stupid and edgelord. So yes, it was much worse than creating him in the first place. Logan D. Hurricanes and assault
