Ninja-Bear
I’ve noticed that Affects Porous didn’t make it into CC. And as far as I can tell it was only added in 5th. So wondering, does anyone actually used (bought it) in play?
dsatow
I just treat porous as similar to desolid can't pass through solid materials.
Duke Bushido
And I treat it similar to solid for purposes of being attacked. The thinking there (if it helps) is that if it were Desolid, it would be Desolid. By definition, porous implies something with holes (of whatever size) through it. The holes aren't special if the rest of it isn't solid, right?
Ninja-Bear
That’s what I’m thinking Duke. Not sure why Affect Porus was added. So as far as I’m concerned, CC will treat TK as 4th ed. And its it’s not a big deal either way, I’m just curious if people actually used it. Ninja-Bear
Oh and Dsatow I see your point too.
Duke Bushido
As do I. When _buulding_ Porous, I use Desolid as the base power.
Ninja-Bear
Fwiw, when I was looking over sample attack builds, under water they have for TK Affects Poros so in hindsight, it being left out is an errata.

Or it is now a default feature of TK. And it still being in that old build is the Errata part

Ninja-Bear
And just because I’m that curious, I looked it up in HS Basic 6th and no mention of it at all.
Killer Shrike
It's in APG on page 122 and

(Which I think would be odd since the adder is listed in 5rhrev) Or that it goes in-depth in APG? Either way, if I was to build a Hydrokinesis character white CC, I wouldn’t worry about it in the build.

I though this was odd just as you did. So I checked the APG and there it was. Ninja-Bear
