Pariah
#7 for me. To draw a plus sign, rotate #5 45° clockwise.
death tribble
They are all wrong. None of them are oval. And that is how you draw X. And you can have M with it so you have M n X.

Bazza
As long as x marks the spot, I don't care how you draw it.

BoloOfEarth
How to draw an X? Well first off, I don't have very good drawing abilities, especially portraiture. The best I can do is stick figures and smiley faces. And secondly, I'm afraid if I drew an X, she might show up. There's a reason she's an X, you know. Interesting, I am a lefty, but I found 7 easier Note: come to think of it (to make me more weird than anyone else, as per usual). Doing it with my hands (as if writing in the dirt I do do it as 8, but with a pen on paper #7) not sure why I do it that way.

Well, if it comes to drawing, I am screwed, I cant draw completely straight lines (nor cut paper in 100% straight line)

Starlord
During initial testing, I used methods 7 and 8. However, final phase testing utilized drawing of said subject whilst in concert with certain words such as 'tax' and 'saxophone'. Final phase resulted in all 7s. Please. Be precise people. Pattern Ghost
5 makes more sense for "tax" and "saxophone," because it's the most efficient stroke coming off the bottom of the "a." Starlord
Badger
going upwards with a stroke feels clunky to me regardless of efficiency. Unless I am writing in cursive, and other than signing my name, I no longer do (no x in my name)
Pattern Ghost
Well, Starlord did ask us to be precise. I never do it outside of cursive either.
Old Man
People still write cursive?
Badger
Maybe, I guess. I never liked doing it as a kid, as I was way neater with print, so after high school, I largely began to use it less and less. And since college I only use it for signature reasons. Starlord
If forced into the ancient art known as 'handwriting', I tend to print in all caps.

Tjack
I do a 7, but I have a question I don’t think anybody asked. Why do you ask? Is there supposed to be some significance to a persons answer or is this a “button then zip or zip then button” kind of thing.
Old Man
In all seriousness, cursive writing was flat out not taught to my kids in elementary school. It's no longer part of the curriculum. One teacher offered some minimal instruction in it as an afterthought after-school workshop for a few weeks. Old Man
I do zip then button, as I am less likely to forget to zip that way.

I seem to write more x's when I'm at a blackboard than other times, so I'll try that situation out as well.
