Funny Pics II: The Revenge

There's no accounting for what people consider appropriate to drink or eat.

When a friend took me to my first szechuan restaurant, we were served an appetizer of bowls of chicken feet. Like you'd get pretzels at a bar/pub, or nachos at a Mexican restaurant. They were straight-up feet cut off chickens -- they still had nails on the toes. You just pick them up out of the bowl and bite. They had been boiled, and the flesh on them was white, thin, rubbery, and to me nearly tasteless. They came included with the meal, so at least I didn't feel like I paid extra for them.

I don't mind chicken feet, but they need a good sauce. It just takes practice to not mind chewing the cartilage since there isn't really meat.

They weren't even seasoned?  At least the dim sum places near me braise 'em with chili and black beans.

As for vinegar based drinks, I give you the shrub
