Detect invisibility

What is Your idea to "detect invisibility" power? Or how heros can detect ghost, or invisible ghost?

I'm not sure what you're looking for. 

Do you want to be able to see invisible entities as though they weren't invisible?  https://www.herogames.com/forums/topic/97998-see-invisible/?tab=comments#comment-2700554

Do you want to just know when something invisible is near?  Build a Detect Invisible sense or Detect Ghost sense with whatever modifiers such as range make sense.

Do you want to be able to fight invisible entities?  Make one of your other senses Targeting (maybe the aforementioned Detect).

For example, someone could be invisible for sight group, but can be targeted by sonar or radar. Or heat detector. Or something.
But what about ghostlike creatures? No warm, no solid body, no sound, invisible. Special stuff for "Ghostbusters"?

The simplest thing would just be to take Detect Ghosts for five points and assign it to the Sight group. There, you can see ghosts now.

 

If you're building something like the Ghostbuster's PKE meter, you start with an appropriate Detect power and build it into a focus, with whatever adders and limitations seem appropriate.

Or just build the Detect with all the add-ons that you think is appropriate, and let it stand on its own. Then it can't be Flashed with the rest of the Sight Group (or Sound Group, as the case may be).

Area Effect paint or flour bombs will make simple invisible visible.

  One of the Hulks lesser known abilities is to detect astral forms.  You used to see it in the early Defenders book when he would be contacted by Dr. Strange.  

   I think it was just was just Detect: Astral Form/Ghosts.

Thematically different invisibilities will have weaknesses to different types of heightened senses. Does light pass through or around? Or is it created in the mind of the viewer? Or is it just really well applied camouflage, or skillful to outrageous degree ninja sneakiness? 

Magic, tech, psychic.

Invisisible, inaudible, unscentable, unscanable.

Solutions rely on senses at hand and goals. Combat can just boil down to AoE. If VPP is available build as appropriate. One time problems warrant a simple throw away solution. A gadget or even a hero borrowed from another team. A frequent hunter makes developing a new power advisable if that makes sense. At least get a gadget, preferably not OAF.

In power terms, the build I used for the Fantasy Codex was:

 

Detect Invisibilty, targeting

Images (glowing outline) vs sight

 

Detect allows you to find and target the person, images makes them glow, whether they're invisible or not
