Chris Goodwin 1,656
Checking in. Anyone going? I've signed up to run a Robot Warriors game. It's going to be quick and dirty, not unlike my Danger International game in 2019. See you there? @Tom Cowan? @lemming? Anyone else?
Tom Cowan 110
Yes, I will be at Gamestorm. How awake... oh, the fun of working nights 7 days a week and going to Con. Hmm, never played in that setting.
Duke Bushido 2,923
I'd love to go! But it's a bit out of my commute range, I'm afraid.... Chris Goodwin
Cancer 6,798
Game Storm always happens at a terrible time for me (end of my Winter Quarter, when grading has both a huge load and a time limit) so I haven't gone since I started teaching full time (more than 15 years now). A couple of folks from my group go pretty much every year. The Seattle <--> Portland Amtrak has been pretty convenient, if I understand their comments right. Once I retire I'll probably take a more active participation in cons, including Game Storm... two or three years out yet. Chris Goodwin
Chris Goodwin 1,656
Got word a little while ago that GameStorm won't be happening. They're in talks to see if they can have it later in the year or whether it's cancelled completely.
Tom Cowan 110
Going to be a 'fun' spring. Stay healthy Chris Goodwin
dsatow 672
That's too bad, but better to stay safe than sorry. Hopefully things will quiet down enough in a few month time where a convention can happen again. Chris Goodwin
Zeropoint 706
Aye, I'm disappointed that I won't get to go--I've been looking forward to getting some RPG table time as a player since last Gamestorm--but I have to admit that shutting it down is (in addition to being legally required) the socially responsible thing to do. Tom Cowan 110
Looks like it is off for a year, but if you paid for this year your membership is good for next.
