Mark Rand
Bonita, Don, and Doreen enter the green room and take their places for the rehearsal. After the first run-through, Annette sticks her head inside and says, "The repairs have been made and the scenery is in place." "Good," Jo Anne says. "We'll reconvene on stage in 15-minutes." Amorkca
Drew sets the lights and mentally goes over the placing of things. Grins a few times and he considers not having the spotlight directly on Rob during some of his scenes...
steriaca
(Jealous much?) Rob blinked again. He hopes that he doesn't bring the play down, considering that he is not an actor more than a dancer and singer. He remembers his time on the MMC show, and the fact that Doreen was by his side on the episodes he was on. She is still by his side here and now. He reflected...without her he isn't even the small amount of actor he is now. He hopped to never have to do anything as an actor, dancer, and singer without her. steriaca
(If Rob overheard Drew, he would of tisked and said "Kimba is better. Or Leo. Both are from the same manga anyways." By the way, did you know that originally Lion King was supposed to be Kimba? They were in talks with Tezuka, but his death cut the talks off, and they decided to rework what little they had.) Bonita, Don, and Doreen stand on their marks. Sharon looks around, checking the Stage Crews' positions. Finally, she says into her two-way radio, "Thirty seconds, folks. Ready, Judy?" "Set," Judy replies. "Roger," Sharon replies. "Bringing stage lights up and dimming house lights." When the house lights are off, she nods and Judy opens the main curtain. Sharon then cues the first actor. (All Stage Crew members have two-way radios with headsets.)
