No Modern Fantasy, but can we indulge in Portal Fantasy? A Connecticut Yankee? An English Child?

I have not read 'An English Child', but you know, the name of the game is fun so ...yes, if you wish to have someone walk into a wardrobe or step through a looking glass to find themselves in your magic kingdom, allowed. However I must ask that no more than two of your choices be so, please.

And we are ONLY drafting actors? No drafting Bavmorda or Rand al'Thor?

We're only drafting actors

My original thought was folks would be making up the characters said actors would be cast as....

BUT... as long as they are High Fantasy genre characters, we can say you got your hands on the rights to use the IP and thus assign.

One proviso...

the actor can't have actually ever played that character.

You want to use Saruman? Christopher Lee is out....but you could cast him as an Evil wizard in many colors named Zaruman that is totally original...no really don't sue.

The Provisonarch will be played be Dafne Keen.

A childlike empress of sorts. Following decades of a seven-sided civil war, the people cried out to the gods to just settle the matter, and the gods provided a baby. Fully human, yes, but with no ancestry or family allegiance; a choice that would advantage no side from the war nor disadvantage any. Every lord was made to swear fealty, on pain of divine blade, to the will of the baby, and so the war ended.

The title? It means temporary ruler. The gods assured the nobility that the baby was sterile. Granted, that's a creepy thing to mention about a baby, but this way there will be no lineage from the divine intervention. The nobility will have the length of her life to figure things out peacefully.

No longer a baby, the Provisonarch is beginning to take on actual responsibilities. Dafne Keen is as she was in Wolverine.

Consort: Maureen O'Hara will be playing a Queen thrust into a marriage of peace and union as a new kingdom forms from two. Queen Badiya is not pleased by this arrangement, and being from a warrior culture, is not ready to surrender her heritage up for the sensitivities of a culture of overly refined pampered aristocrats!

Sovereign: Jack Cassidy

Prince (not king) of the Dalmatian city-state of Splato (now called Split), around 835 AD.  Prince Slićvilić (we'll call him "Slick" for short) is scheming uneasily as the rival lord Trpimir (in our movie, he'll be referred to as "Trp the Twrp") up north is making clear signs that he wants to bring all of Dalmatia under his own rule, which seemingly requires the extinction of Slick's dynastic family.  Trp the Twrp has been following the same career arc as Prince Slick's great-grandfather, who was an upstart bandit leader who got together his gang of armed drinking buddies and conquered a chunk of territory, eventually going up to the old Roman district capital of Biodegrad where he bullied and bribed the local bishop into giving him a noble title.  Slick's noble house started as the original rulers of in the not-too-distant village of Slime (that's pronounced slee-may, not that anyone cares), so his full title is Slick von Slime, Sovereign Prince of Splato.

Extinction is not on Slick's list of good things, and Trpimir has lots more armed thugs than Slick does.  Slick's goal is get Trp the Twrp to accept the House of Slime as a vassal rather than merely wiping them all out like cat barf cleared away with a quarter roll of paper towels.  How can this be done?  Slick has assets he can leverage, and he has a plan ....
