Pattern Ghost
Seems like Pattinson has some sage insights into the character: https://www.hindustantimes.com/hollywood/robert-pattinson-says-batman-isn-t-a-superhero-offers-explanation/story-hdBVgx3MCuiRkf0baERvNM.html
Lord Liaden
I dunno, what I'm reading there sounds like Pattinson may be reluctant to fully commit to the larger-than-life nature of the character -- not comfortable with taking on the aura of a man who can say with absolute conviction, "I am Vengeance! I am the Night!"

Starlord
Reluctance to play a larger-than-life character seems odd coming from a guy who has played a wizard and a vampire.... Pattern Ghost
Bazza
Maybe just a wizard, vampires don’t use glitter.
Pattern Ghost
I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on physicality and acting chops, but after reading that, I'm not sure I want to see what he brings to the character. He doesn't seem to have a good grasp on Batman or comics in general. We're going to get another movie that's going to shy away from the genre, I think. clnicholsusa
I think the point about casting a teenage heartthrob and turning this into Batman/Twilight is probably on target. Hollywood refuses to spend money on a new story because they can make money with the same old story time and time again. It could be worse... or maybe it is, is there anyone that can verify we won't be seeing Black Widow/Hunger Games in May?
