Coronavirus

And their declaration has major flaws.

First:  the doctor-patient relationship is subject to gross media manipulation.  WHY is the patient requesting ivermectin???
Second:

Quote

Physicians shall not be restricted from prescribing safe and effective treatments.

If this is talking about the coronavirus "treatments"...they are not safe OR effective.

Third:  humanevents.com is just playing echo chamber for another site called American Greatness.  They've got sections called Greatness Agenda, and Great America.  Yeah, you can guess what their content is like.

Heck, I'm not even sure the event as described *ever happened.*

Yes, there was a Global Health Summit...in Rome.  In MAY, not September.
Yes, there was a Global Covid Summit in September.  But it was virtual.

Right now, I believe the entire declaration is manufactured.

Funny thing is, having read that "declaration," whether true or not, it reads like it came from physicians who actually are trying to treat their patients with scientifically proven effective measures like vaccines and masks, and adapt to the changing dynamics of COVID. Because everything they protest against has been directed against such doctors at one time or another during the course of the pandemic.

Six months was the guideline for most of the US, so I got mine in mid-October.

Still need to get the flu shot.  Was gonna get em both but I forgot that CVS, where I got the booster, doesn't take Blue Cross.  Perhaps I'll try to schedule it for Friday, Leftovers Day.  Gonna have to restock the fridge that day anyway.

EDIT:  booked a flu shot just now...

Ooops, looks like my info was out-of-date, and my pharmacy does require appointments for flu shots now. Oh well, after Thanksgiving maybe. Given how much better masking and social distancing work against the flu than Covid-19 itself, I'm not feeling all that much worry about catching it this week.

Yeah, getting one scheduled was easy.  Basically, they want an advance appointment now for logistical reasons, I'd think.  The injection itself can't be done by a run-of-the-mill tech, so there's time-flow considerations.
