JerryJV
Hello, I am trying to add a number to a label in the export. I want to 'count' the number of powers as I am exporting, and adding that number to a text label in the export. ex: numPowers= count of powers Power(x)Name, where (x) is replaced with a number as the export loops through the power. I'm creating an export file to output data to be loaded into a 'token' being used in MapTools. Thanks
Simon
If you want to use the MATH tag for that, you'd likely need to do an extra loop through the Powers list...not generating any output for each Power, just "+1" for each loop. Wrap the whole thing in a MATH container...likely have a leading "0" to handle that stray "+" at the beginning of your Powers output...should be good to go. JerryJV
I'll give that a try, not sure that will give me exactly what I want. I'm looking at it from an old programmer way, i.e. a count loop, or similar where each loop add one to a variable.
JerryJV
I put in a character and will replace it within a macro in the MapTools program to handled adding a number to the text. Turns out it actually streamlined my macro code by doing this. Made the REGEX line a bit more complicated though. Thanks for you time. HeroGM
There is a css property called count. You could use that along with a :before or :after
