  1. Thanks for that check.

A note that likely won’t help OP: you can adjust the font size in HD, you just need to do it at the command line (since Windows is a bit of a pain with passing along font scaling info to Java).

    java -jar HD6.jar [font size]

e.g.  “java -jar HD6.jar 18” will set an 18 pt font size throughout

  2. Again, an awkward effect of the way they wanted Matching Complications to function.

You can always leave the Matching Complications set to the original level - they don't factor into any calculations.  Reducing the Points, setting the Experience Earned, and eliminating the Complication(s) that have been bought off through Experience will show what you need.

  3. When you define an existing element in a rules template, you're overwriting the built-in definition. If you want to keep the built-in definition and add to it (as in your case), you need to copy the built-in definition into your extension template and use that as your starting point.  That's going to be a LARGE copy/paste for Languages, but should be a one time thing and let you add to existing languages and modify the language familiarity chart accordingly.

  4. Providing videos or tutorials on basic use of a computer/operating system is well beyond the purview of HD's support.  That said, I'm sure that a simple search would find you any number of videos detailing how to open a command prompt under Windows.

The download section of this site has a large number of export formats.  I have no idea what you mean by "non-.hde formats" -- .hde is the extension for HD export formats, there is no other option.  All .hde files are editable, assuming you're familiar with the syntax of whatever format they're designed to produce (e.g. HTML, RTF, text, etc.).
