Starlord got a reaction from Jhamin in Marvel Cinematic Universe, Phase Three and BEYOOOOONND
and his mother...and his father...and his brother...and his friends...and he didn't just lose a big battle - he basically got half the universe killed because he had Thanos beat and took time to gloat. Yeesh, it's perfectly realistic for him to quit on life IMO.

Starlord reacted to Lord Liaden in Do you feel....lucky???
I would honestly hate to win that much money. It would cause more headaches than it would solve. I don't want to buy anything requiring that order of magnitude of lucre. My name and face would be made public, and everyone wanting a handout would start hounding me. Deciding how to use the money to benefit which people would be a huge responsibility. And I'd never be sure if people genuinely wanted to be my friends, or just use me.
My dream is a one to five million dollar prize. I'd spread the majority to my family and a few causes I consider worth supporting, then retire on the rest.

Oh, I don't hate Brady.
To hate him, I'd have to care about him at all.

Starlord reacted to zslane in Marvel Cinematic Universe, Phase Three and BEYOOOOONND
I don't quite understand why Marvel gets a bad rap for "lack of character development". Tony Stark, Thor, Loki, Bucky/Winter Soldier, T'Challa, Captain Marvel, Banner/Hulk, Dr. Strange, Nebula, and Spider-Man all go through clear character development, sometimes during a single film, other times over the course of several films. But the development is undeniably there in a way that isn't there for any DCEU character.

I find this development unsettling. I understand the deterrent intent behind the decision, but these people are still only charged, not convicted. It doesn't matter how good the evidence is, "innocent until proven guilty" and "due process" are still supposed to be cornerstones of the American justice system. Making these people's names and locations public, in this political climate, means they and their loved ones face ostracism, harassment, or worse. It's punishing them before they've been convicted.
This smacks a little too much of an "enemies list" for my liking.

The most amusing comment I'm hearing from the ESPN folks is "I feel sorry for Steve Nash."

Do you want to know why the Republicans won't impeach Trump?
Because they believe in carrying a baby to full term.

I hold the people who actually did the deed responsible in all instances. However, the POTUS seems to have directly incited (ie., the action of provoking unlawful behavior or urging someone to behave unlawfully) the proceedings right before they happened. Also, there seems to be evidence that his administration also may have interfered with, or just ignored, efforts to defend the capitol. He should bear some responsibility for that and should be punished accordingly.
